AHCL Systems: a technological innovation for Diabetes Management
Advanced Hybrid Closed-Loop (AHCL) systems represent the latest technological advance in the treatment of type 1 diabetes and consist of three components: a control algorithm, an insulin pump and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM). AHCL systems are capable of automatically delivering insulin, adjusting to rising and falling requirements, and delivering automatic correction boluses as needed, based on glucose predictions derived from continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Treatment with AHCL systems improves glycaemic variability, reduces the frequency of hypoglycaemia and significantly increases the time spent within the target range. Furthermore, it helps to reduce the burden of daily diabetes management, thereby improving quality of life.

Tandem t:slim Mobile App
An app that makes managing diabetes easier: using your smartphone, you can deliver or cancel boluses, view pump data, and receive push notifications with complete discretion. In addition, treatment data is automatically uploaded wirelessly to the Tandem Source platform, eliminating the need to download data at the clinic. Diabetes management thus becomes less intrusive, reducing mental burden and improving adherence to treatment.
