This is the second consecutive year that Movi SpA is supporting Fondazione Italiana Diabete (FID) at the Milano Relay Marathon, a relay marathon with a strong solidarity commitment that allows participants to run for a charitable cause.

As of April 2023, thanks in part to the contribution of Movi, which has been providing people with diabetes, particularly type 1, with access to the most innovative technologies for more than 30 years, FID has reached a record 105,000 euros, donated by more than 2,000 supporters. These funds go toward finding a definitive cure for Type 1 Diabetes.

We would like to thank the 16 relay runners who actively participated in this solidarity race, as well as colleagues involved in organizing the event, supporters, and those who contributed on the La Rete del Dono portal.

Given the successes of the 2023 edition, Movi is once again renewing its participation in the Milan Relay Marathon, scheduled for April 7, 2024, with a great new feature: “Movi & Friends.” Each Movi relay runner from the previous edition has invited a friend (spouse, boyfriend/girlfriend, friends, family members) to double the number of relays to 8 teams and 32 runners.

Movi also decided to donate the same amount raised to FID, helping to fund the work of a young researcher for one year.
